Steel Garages
Fully enclosed buildings with wall panels and doors designed for increased protection and structural strength.
Fully Enclosed Steel Garages
When simple coverage isn't enough, a fully enclosed steel garage provides a secure, weather-tight environment for workshops, classic cars, or secure storage.
1. Total Protection
Unlike a carport, a garage protects your assets from 360 degrees of wind, rain, and theft.
- Security: Enclosed units allow for locking roll-up doors and walk-in entry doors.
- Curb Appeal: Full enclosure allows for two-tone color schemes and a sophisticated architectural look.
2. Components of a Steel Garage
- Roll-up Doors: Available in sizes from 6'x6' to 12'x12'.
- Walk-In Doors: Standard 36" x 80" steel entry doors for human access.
- Windows: 30" x 30" or 30" x 36" optional windows for natural light and ventilation.
3. The 12-Gauge Advantage
For enclosed buildings, we highly recommend upgrading to 12-gauge framing.
- Strength: Enclosed walls catch more wind (wind load); 12-gauge steel provides the safety margin needed for large flat surfaces.
- Warranty: 12-gauge units often carry a longer rust-through warranty.
4. Foundation Needs
A level concrete slab is almost always recommended for an enclosed garage to ensure doors operate smoothly and insects/water can't get under the base rails.

"We don't build generic carports. We build for your specific GPS coordinates. Every pound of snow load and every mile of wind gust is calculated before the first piece of steel is cut."
Other Carport & Building Types Resources
Basic coverage structures with lighter framing designed for smaller spans and lower exposure conditions.
Vertical panel orientation improves drainage and reduces long-term stress from debris and water accumulation.
Structures attached to buildings or freestanding extensions used to expand coverage without full enclosure.
Tall-frame structures engineered for motorhomes, boats, and equipment requiring additional height and width.
Clear-span structures for large equipment and storage without interior supports.
